They did the furnace preventative maintenance in the fall and today did the A/C and tankless water heater preventative maintenance. To date, Grant’s Heating and Air replaced my furnace, AC, on-demand hot water heater system, and whole house fan in a 35-year-old home. They’ve done quality work each visit.
We started with my 25-year-old furnace and AC. When discussing the job, Grant discovered the house ducts were not properly circulating the warm air back to the AC. Instead, hot air was trapped on the ceiling and never circulated back for cooling. We added a top floor to basement air duct to the furnace/AC replacement job. The new furnace and AC have worked flawlessly since. The AC especially benefited. My house now stays cool even on hot days. The AC doesn’t even struggle. No other furnace/AC business ever questioned the air returns. They only focused on the hardware. Grant caught an issue no one else even questioned.
Several years after the furnace/AC replacement, my Rinnai on-demand hot water system started to fail. I was not able to find good service for it. After a number of unhelpful phone calls and some bad service visits, I wrote off the Rinnai as a bad decision. I talked with Grant and made the ability to service the replacement a top priority. Grant installed a Navien, relocating the hot water system to a quiet spot in the process. The Navien has already lasted longer than the Rinnai with no issues at all.
The most recent work was replacing my old whole-house attic fan with a new one. There's not a lot to say about the whole house fan except it's quieter, insulated, smaller, and more energy efficient. From a previous energy audit, I was told I did not have enough vents in the attic to support the amount of air circulating in there. I told Grant about this. He was able to measure the air flow and told me I have all the ventilation I need. He saved me a lot of money by not having to modify the attic vents. Nice work, Grant!

Grant's Heating and Air LLC has been a godsend for us. Best reliable service in the Glacier View/Red Feather Lakes area and possibly the state if they consider expanding. In our 70s, we are not DIY home maintenance people. Over the years we have needed repairs and new equipment in our home. Hot water heater, furnace and humidifier, and heat pump are some of the major items we have had Grant purchase and install for us.
When we call, the response is always quick and professional, even though cell service is never reliable in the Glacier View/Red Feather Lakes area. Grant has always been very honest and fair in pricing by offering different options for materials when options are available. If his team is busy and there is an emergency he will do what he can to work a person in, even if it means they have to work into the late hours of the night. On one occasion, when the job took a little longer than they estimated, they were here until 8 PM and we asked them to go home and get some sleep and return the next day, which they did, but only after insisting they would stay until the work was complete. When we first compared the pricing with other companies in the area we found that the quality of workmanship and professionalism of Grant's team was far superior. The old adage of 'You get what you pay for' comes to mind. And - like a good neighbor Grant is always there. Can't say enough good things about this company.

We found Grant about 5 years ago when we asked him to check our furnace. Another company had given us a bid, but it was a big company out of Fort Collins and we didn’t feel that the tech knew what he was talking about. Grant did. It was obvious he knew his business and he gave us a fair and complete bid. He did the job exactly as bid and did a phenomenal job! There were no surprises in the bill. Since then we’ve had him install a humidifier and perform the annual checkups on our AC and furnace. Several years ago our AC wouldn’t start. Grant came right out and found out rats had eaten the wires on the outside of the house. He quickly fixed the issue, for what I thought was a very low fee. Next year, same issue, different location. Grant told me how to fix it, giving me the option of fixing the wiring or having them do it. I opted to splice in new wire and had Grant check my work and got the AC running again and reminded me how to prevent a recurrence, again at a low fee. Grant and all of his team know the job and you can rely on them to be knowledgeable and professional. You can trust Grant to do the job right. Grant and all his team take exceptional pride in their work. I won’t use anyone else!
